Day 6- Finishing the seat
The seat is finished and the team can pay more attention to the engine and the actual car itself!
Day 5- Organisation
The engine is now being constructed!
Day 4- New Headgear
Today the team has been treated to stylish headgear! They have been working even harder today!
Day 3 - Start to get new equipment
Today everyone in the team get excited because of the new gear like the belts and frames for the seat and their suit. Perhaps that means that they're taking a big step so that might mean next week they get their helmets and get closer to finishing the car.
Day 2 - Progress on Car Build
The team have found the correct instructions and have got themselves back on track. Hopefully they get extra completed today because of the set back last week.We know they will because of the two more helpers that have come this week.
Day 1 - Car Build 01.02.17
Today the engineering team have started to unbox and organise the car parts. However, there have been an number of frustrating moments at times, not least when they realised that they had the wrong instructions and parts of the car were missing. Hopefully, we will be back on track next week...watch this space!
2) Visit to WMG
On 25th January 2017 our Greenpower engineering team, business team and media team went to Warwick University to find out about car manufacturing and to meet the University students who will be working with us to build our car in future weeks. We can't wait to start! We have lots to do.
